It is less than two months until this year’s Mother Earth Day / May Day mobilization activities, building on last year’s amazing 10 days of action for People, Planet and Peace over Profit! This year, we are calling for two days of action to help halt the assault on our economy, ecology, peace and democracy on Mother Earth Day (April 22) & May Day (May 1), 2015. These days of action including civil disobedience, boycotts and creative community alternatives will lay groundwork for a global People’s Climate Strike in solidarity with the UN Climate protests beginning November 30 of this year.

We have updated our Map & Calendar for 2015 with new & improved functionality - right now, all events submitted to the website are eligible to be included on the GCC Map, but as Mother Earth Day / May Day events are shared, a map exclusively marking Earth Day & May Day related events will be posted. Get Involved with the USSF through the GCC!

Join the GCC and the rest of the Food & Climate Justice Working Group of the Philadelphia US Social Forum (USSF) in planning a People’s Movement Assembly (PMA) around the People’s Climate Strike.
